Post-Gustav - Friday update

The city seems to be perking up. The curfew has been lifted, businesses are opening up and people are getting around and settling in. The Saints game will be interesting, and fortunately some friends of ours who evacuated gave us their tickets. Yesterday I rode my scooter to the French Quarter and got a few photos. I've uploaded all my 'Gustav photos' to Flickr if you're interested.

This morning the power came on in the condo for about 1 minute. So hopefully today will be the day that home life returns to normal. The dogs would like that, and so would we.
