Weather information on the Internet

With Hurricane Gustav I learned that there are a lot of great weather sources that you can turn to if you don't want to wait around for the local news boobs to spoon feed you their 'Weather for Dummies'. My friend Al Robert (my main source of cool information about the Internet and technology) send me a copy of an email he sent to a friend about how to keep up with Hurricane Ike. Here's what Al wrote, and let me say that 'if Al writes it' then it's gold.

Bob Breck is a New Orleans weatherman. He is known for his lack of fear-mongering and, more importantly, his toupee. http://bobbreck.blogspot.com/

Jeff Masters is pretty good, but he usually only updates once in the morning. The site itself (wunderground) also has a lot of good maps, etc. http://www.wunderground.com/blog/JeffMasters/

Storm-Pulse is the best tracking site, bar-none. It uses the National Hurricane predicitons that everyone else uses, but makes them interactive. http://www.stormpulse.com/
