Irrational security, part II

Peggy Noonan's Wall St. Journal article The View from Gate 14 is provocative, not just for its indictment of our travel security system but also for her observations about George Bush. In case you forgot, she was a speech writer for Bush senior.

I love Peggy's books and her WSJ column. She is best known as the speech writer for Ronald Reagan, although she is also responsible for writing the "Hundred Points of Light" speech for Bush 41. When a reliable conservative condemns a Republican President, you know it's "game over."
