Legal Writing Seminar in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Shreveport
Tue, April 1, 2008 Judge Mark Painter is a court of appeals judge in Cincinnati, Ohio and he has written a wonderful book called The Legal Writer. It's a short book (now in the 3rd edition) that gives 40 rules for lawyers and judges to use to make their writing clearer. I have a copy on my bookshelf, and believe me it's got a lot of highlighting. What could be better than having this handy little reference guide?
