ABA Recommendation on Domestic Spying

The ABA House of Delegates voted overwhelmingly to recommend President Bush curtail domestic spying.  The resolution is available here (PDF). The ABA Task Force that prepared the recommendations includes a former FBI Director, and former General Counsels to the CIA and NSA.

Obviously, these are folks who would be sympathetic to legitimate national security concerns, and the need for surveillance in certain cases.  And yet they disagree with the President's domestic spying initiatives.  Interesting, isn't it?
