Text message from Sprint

I just got the following text message from Sprint, which was very nice and deserves a favorable mention:

"Hurricane Relief: Sept 1-30 overage and roaming for this phone will be waived. A 1-month credit of rate plan charges will appear on your Sept or Oct bill. "

I know some dour people who complain that Sprint has terrible customer service (I'm not one of them) will find some reason to say this is a meaningless gesture, but I respectfully disagree.  Sprint is going to have spend many millions of dollars rebuilding infrastructure in the Gulf area.  So I take it as more than a 'gesture' that they would waive roaming charges for all Katrina-affected customers for the entire month of September.
