Figuring it all out.

This post is just a marker buoy.  Not one of you readers will really understand this post.  It's for me.  It's here to mark the time when I 'figured it out.'  Oh, I'm sure that will raise an eyebrow or two.  So, what did I figure out?

You know.  That thing.  The thing that's been bothering me my whole life.  This song kind of has the right lyrics, but it's not really on point so don't think it's about State Troopers or crimes and stuff like that.  I just like the part where Springsteen says 'the only thing that I've got's been botherin' me my whole life.'   Not that it has anything to do with what I'm not talking about, but I also like this John Hiatt song, especially this part:

Now there’s only two things in life but I forget what they are
It seems we’re either hanging on a moonbeams coat tails
Or wishing on stars
Just when you think that you’ve been gyped
The bearded lady comes and does a double back flip
And you run off and join the circus
Yeah, you just let that pony ride

Yep, that kind of sums it up. For me, at least.

Oh, and maybe the Charlie Parker quote is on point too:  "Just forget all that shit and play."
