Law School Admissions Process - Is it Fair?

Mike at Buffalo Wings & Vodka is gathering information for a friend who is writing a story about law school admissions and needs some anecdotal evidence about things that law schools may do to make their admissions process look more rigorous than it actually is.  If you have any good stories that involve the things that Mike has listed shoot him an email.
