Remembering Charlie

Even though I have only known him for a few years (mostly communicating by email and blog posts), I consider Shel Israel to be one of my really good friends.  He is a supremely gifted writer, as this post about his close friend Charlie O'Brien shows.  We should all have good friends like Shel and Charlie.   Actually, most of us do have such friends.  It's just that not all of us are able to express how much our friendships mean with such eloquence.
