Time's up. Put down your pencils

I'm sorry, but politicians who finally figure out the right course of action, only after  disgruntled villagers with torches and pitchforks show up at the capitol steps get no credit. Every high school student who takes the SAT knows about time limits in taking tests.   Louisiana is facing a lot of important tests, and we can't put up with politicians who don't know how to meet the test.

Bottom line: Kathleen Blanco should resign.  We need a leader, not a poll-watcher.
