Open Standards and Open Media

My good friend J.D. Lasica and his friend Marc Canter announced a major new initiative, which is called (for now at least) Open Media. It's an open source media project that will attempt to foster grassroots media and spread users' creations to people's desktops through open standards. [Read more about it]
