School is changing - SMS texting is part of the change
Thu, July 1, 2004 From this news report we learn: "A student from Singapore has smashed the world record for sending a text message. The record was originally held by James Trusler from England who managed to send a 160-character long message in 67 seconds."
It's hard to imaging now, but it's possible that one day your grandchild will be the captain of the Text Messaging Club at school. And you'll be beaming with pride.
