Those wacky cross-eyed state legislators

Last night the Daily Show with Jon Stewart did a funny story on the new law in Arizona that makes it legal to carry handguns in bars and other places where alcohol is served. Tonight Stephen Colbert is going to do a piece on Louisiana's effort to ban low-ride pants.

The Daily Show has figured out that the huge untapped comedy resource is our state legislatures. Eventually, other TV shows will figure this out. It's not long before we start seeing 'Legislators Gone Wild' videos and 'Survivor - Louisiana 2005 Legislative Session."
