One reason to go to Starbucks

I'm at a locally-owned coffee shop on Magazine St. that has free Wi-Fi.  It's right across the street from a Starbucks, which has Wi-Fi but it's not free (T-Mobile is the provider).  So I'm relaxing on the porch wondering why anyone would want to go to the Starbucks and pay for Wi-Fi when they can sit on this nice porch savoring local coffee and free Wi-Fi when I overhear the conversation from the table next to me.  The attractive young woman, who has previously made comments indicating that she is quite Wi-Fi savvy, says that she sometimes likes to go to Starbucks:  "I go there when I don't want to run into anyone I know so I can get some work done."

Ah, now I understand.
