Avoiding litigation - Some tips

I can't avoid it because it's what I do for a living, but most people like to avoid litigation.  Philip Greenspun has some worthwhile observations on how to avoid litigation.  He's not a lawyer, just a really smart guy who teaches at M.I.T.
