What do non-lawyers think about the legal profession?

Steve Covell notes: "I think it's interesting to see what non-lawyers perceive to be the problem with lawyers. Here's what a court reporter had to say in a law-related forum about lawyers abusing the legal system."

Those comments spawned an interesting discussion, and it's one that lawyers should be aware of. Of course, the good ones are aware. The bad ones just don't care what people think.
