Sycophantic law student needed for associate's position at large firm
Fri, September 19, 2003 Matthew Toll is, to put it euphemistically, quite eager to get a job at a large law firm. From the looks of this it appears that he's ready to sell his soul to the devil. Hope he doesn't mind working in the heat.

[Ed. note] I REMOVED THE REMAINING COMMENTS OF "CARL RIGHTWICH" WHOSE E-MAIL ADDRESS IS NOT VALID BECAUSE THEY CONTAINED SERIOUS ACCUSATIONS ABOUT CERTAIN TULANE STUDENTS THAT I DON'T BELIEVE SHOULD BE POSTED BY SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO PROVIDE A VALID SOURCE OF IDENTIFICATION.
This idiot...here is the final paragraph from the idiotic cover letter/pleading he sent my firm.
I have substantial ties with the State of Florida. I spent a summer working in REDACTED. I am an annual passholder at Disney. My girlfriend of the past couple years (and likely future wife) is from the area and is looking at firms across the state (in response to both her family's pleas to remain local and her love for the state). She is planning to get her LLM in taxation and plans to attend the University of Florida. My father, who is now in real estate, is considering numerous investment opportunities in the area. My grandmother has a place in West Palm Beach. In short, there is no risk that in hiring me, the firm would be extending someone an offer "without ties to the area."
Hmmmm....but Mr. Tool is sending resumes to New Jersey too? Being a member of the bar requires a degree of honesty you idiot. I wonder how many firms had a laugh at Matthew Toll's expense? I pity the idiot that hires him!
