Lileks on effective advertising

I love James Lileks' blog The Bleat. I read it every day, and it's often the high point of my day. Which is to say, the point where I laugh out loud, or just smile in quiet satisfaction. Today's Bleat is not necessarily a classic, unless you are an observer of advertising trends.

I am fascinated by advertising and its power to sway our decision-making. And I agree with Mr. Lileks that the thing I'm looking for most in a vodka is "swingability."
