Philly Airport has Wi-Fi - Cool!

So I'm at gate B-7 at the Philadelphia airport waiting for my connecting flight to New Orleans (I arrived from Portland, Maine) and I opened my laptop to get some work done and bada bing! I picked up a Wi-Fi signal from AT&T Wireless. So I had to try to use it. It's $9.99 for a 24 hour period, which I'm obviously not going to take complete advantage of unless my flight encounters some serious problems. Ten bucks for an hour of internet is not cheap, obviously, but it shows what's coming in the future. Now instead of wasting time reading a magazine or starring at the TV screen I can get some E-mail responses out, which is what I'm now off to do...

Later C/Net news has this report on the new Wi-Fi service at Philly.
