Hi Ernie,

Suppose you're using the GPS, and you get a call. I know it might be hard while driving, but can't you hit the home button and get back into the Navigon app?

Ernie Svenson

Yeah, that works. Still it would be nice if the GPS screen stayed up during the call.

Wow looks impressive and your review is great. I use Nokia Maps on my e90 and its navigation is amazing too.

Robby

Having problem keeping the GPS signal. This there some type of antenna you can plug into the iPhone to boost the signal?

Ernie Svenson

Hey Robby: I haven't had any GPS signal problems so far, but I can imagine that some places have bad coverage just like cell tower coverage issues that plague cellphone usage. I guess I'd google around to see if anyone has solved this problem.

alex

Have you tried to use Tom Tom or Sygic for navigation? I really liked Sygic it has great maps as well as lots of POIs

Ernie Svenson

Hey Alex:

No, I have not tried either one. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has, though.

Personally, I don't know how I used to manage without my GPS on my car. I use it everyday to find parking spaces, get to and from work and I can even access the traffic. I recently added Tom Tom GPS app to my iphone and it has revolutionized my driving experience. I use many online cars sites listed on www.dozencars.com to find the best apps, accessories and blogs. I feel that the Tom Tom GPS is one of the best on the market.
