Sunday 10:00 am update

The city is quiet, and people who said they didn't plan to leave are now leaving. It took our friend Betsy over 12 hours to get to Houston; she left yesterday at 11 am.

About 4 or 5 groups are staying in the condo where Becky and I are. There are Entergy trucks staged in the parking lot next to our building (the lots by the Zoo entrance). And there are all kinds of vehicles staged on the 'Fly by the river. (We'll go check that situation out later on). Whole Foods has a massive generator truck (18 wheeler) stowed in its parking lot, and apparently the police will stage there to protect this part of Uptown. Things like that make you feel somewhat assured.

Watching the TV news has the opposite effect.
