Newsweek Article - Lawsuit Hell
The current Newsweek is featuring articles about our Litigation culture. This 'pull-quote' says it all: "A man broke his leg in an Arizona softball tournament and sued the city. Fearing he was next, an organizer cancelled it."
Stuart Taylor, a national columnist and writer, will conduct a Live Talk on frivolous lawsuits, their costs to society and how to fix the problem on Thursday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m. EST. If you want to submit questions then click here.

Some believe the authors have a thesis that they will hold even in the face of contrary facts.
ATLA and other consumer groups have done some more research on the
inaccuracies in the stories -
ATLA itself has an ax to grind of course, but everyone should be aware of both sides of this story.
