    When to use "between" and "among"

    Sherry Fowler is duking out out in a furious E-mail battle; her citations to the unknown grammarian, Mike O'Sullivan, are not being accepted. Apparently, only the Chicago Manual of Style will do.

    Say, what about Fowlers Modern English Usage?

    For what it's worth, and although Aaron Haspel has recently heaped scorn on my writing ability -- http://www.godofthemachine.com/archives/00000499.html (I'm keeping a zen-like detachment and not responding)-- I'm with George and Sherry on this one.
